Who We Are

Based in Victoria BC, we are a mixed group of dice-rolling gamers. As a group we try to encourage all types of interactive games and hobbies as an expressive way to enjoy ourselves.

We do it for the fun of it.

Visions of Doom - Darkest Hour

Game Paraphernalia Update

There's a fair-sized world on my floor at the moment.

Here are a couple more angles.  I add stuff along the way ;)
See if you can spot the differences!

I am also planning to update/spiff up my game counters a bit...

Best wishes.

Trouble Brews Quickly 'Round Here

Thanks to Ricalope, who availed me an afternoon for a couple rudimentary games of "ROBOT CHESS" on the 16-spot test board I built...  It became evident a bigger board was needed...  Along with more post-urban terrain.

The atomic spinosaur was pure inspiration.  Screech!

Adventuring Party - A Daemon for the Unkind

Meet Tzak here, (I recommend starting at the earliest post for continuity).  As you might know, he is one of the legendary aspirants to the Court of Eldor.  Thaxean Tzaks-grathi was split in two, and upon his death and subsequent joining, has risen to daemonhood. A punk-rock rivet head who steals the life from those around him.
As you might be able to tell, he was a lot of fun to play.
After his initial assembly, I added a larger base to prevent him from tipping.  (An earlier post shows his "green" state.)
Until next round, keep playing!!

Swimming Eagle Past & Present

Greetings, friends!  I've been working with some 1:35 military stuff lately, and the presence of body parts not necessarily contorted or covered with brand-name power armour has impelled me to make an updated representation of my battle character Swimming Eagle.

Difficult things like tails sculpted from Green Stuff can slump while waiting to dry.  I had to hang him upside-down in a tree for a couple days like Odin.

I feel like 1:35 has crept toward the large end in the last couple decades.  My old mini was based on a GW Catachan fighter or something which is, I believe, 20mm standard scale?  Excuse for a joke.

Might post a follow-up pic here of the paint job.
Good day!

Radioactive Nazi Zombie #1

"No, not just Nazi zombies... radioactive Nazi zombies!" said the g/f.

Made from a Dragon kit, "Ambush at Poteau."  The hat is from Stalin & Co.  I shaved it carefully into the '40s Wehrmacht-style peaked cap.  Couldn't find binocs, so he got a Space Marine monocular.

The next one will have a flamethrower!
