Who We Are

Based in Victoria BC, we are a mixed group of dice-rolling gamers. As a group we try to encourage all types of interactive games and hobbies as an expressive way to enjoy ourselves.

We do it for the fun of it.

The Day of the Lope - The After Math

This is the prestigious award for first overall at the Day of the Lope, a small tournament (read: gaming binge) in the Rabbit Hole. Yesterday seven people swarmed the Hole, bringing war and violence to this otherwise quiet den.
Thirteen games were played, logging in forty hours of battle-time, uncountable rolls were made. In proper style, here's the standings, starting with player's choices.
Sportsmanship (Player's Choice): Chris.
Presentation (Player's Choice): Nick
Seventh: Andrew (orks)
Sixth: Sam (daemons)
Fifth: Dezzy (tyranids)
Fourth: Chris (Traitor Marines)
Third: Ricalope (imperial guard)
Second: Paul (deathwing)
First: Nick (chaos marines) <- congrats man!

It was one hell of a day...
Ork conga-line, yup....

Warmachine!

Thanks to everyone who participated (and the spectator), it was an amazing/exhausting/awesome day!

Winners; next time you are by, grab yur prizes!

Day of the Lope

The true date of the Lope is shrouded in mystery, but each year we celebrate the Rabbit one of the best ways possible; BATTLE. On August 13th, I invite each of you to a small tournament, and the best part? Stuff!

With three tables running, stuff to win and the lagomorph holiday to celebrate...
It will begin at the hour of nine in the morning, and end when the gamers either die of exhaustion or a medical emergency (like running out of coffee). Each army who attends will be scored on appearance, and tried in the fires of battle. Forces may be chosen from any current Codex (Imperial Armour units may be used) and use the standard Force Organization Chart.

It will be a day of heroes, legends and atrocities. It will be blogged.

War of the Platypus SE

Contest at Ninja Den was a rampant success. I like the ninja, and I liked to play in his den :)

Floorhammer: tape out ALL THE SPACE YOU GOT and we'll come and play.

We had a magnificent irregular shape to play on. Very interesting compared with square or rectangle games, it really felt like we had different theatres of combat going on...

From across the expanse, Chaos glowers at the Pathfinders...

Andrew kicking my ass. Dude, I know I swear a lot and stuff, but I love you and I really loved playing with you. All honourable challengers know you can't hold back... those Nobz will be in my sights though... ;)

What a beautiful, fascinating pastime we have chosen.

Sorry you're blurry Nick, but this photo had WAY more character than the retake...

Andrew wins with three objectives, Ric runner-up with two. Nick broke even (the Chaos motor lot was well-defended!!) after a hard-bitten struggle over the platypus. Sammy and I came up empty, consoled by the fact that we didn't make it a bit easy. ;)

Good game!!!!!!!!! :)))))
Love, Chris
