Who We Are

Based in Victoria BC, we are a mixed group of dice-rolling gamers. As a group we try to encourage all types of interactive games and hobbies as an expressive way to enjoy ourselves.

We do it for the fun of it.

The Battle that never happened

The Orcs set up camp in the Tyranid Hive prepared to fight, their red shoes and machines at the ready.

It seems the Tyranids are preparing their young awaiting the hatching day.

The Hive Tyrant spots the intruders with its many heads and alerts its troops. Some of the Genestealers busy themselves with other things.

More Tyranids join in to the impending battle.

The Harpy spots the targets as her body glows electric from the glow of the luminescent hive walls.

The Orcs see the red forces.

The stare down before the battle seems to last for hours. Both forces simultaneously decide to forgo battle. The Orcs leave and the Tyranids continue their harvest.

There may be any number of reasons why these two did not fight, but only they will ever know. This will forever be known as The Battle that never happened...

Shadow and Terror

In the confines of Steamtown Cryx and Khador engage again.  At the fore, Deathjack and the Behemoth race towards each other.
The heavy Khador troopers advance alongside their warjacks within sorcerous snowstorms.  The helljacks race forward, often becoming ghostly to pass through obstructions.
The 'brute squad' eyes their target, this one is a tough one...
The two giants clash heavily, with the Behemoth getting the charge.  From on high the Dice Gods show disfavour upon the unpainted, and Behemoth misses with all his attacks.
The sky darkens as Deathjack tears into Khador steel.  Maelovous moves in for the kill, transmuting the heavy 'jack into a leviathan.
Mr. Terrible charges into melee and is eventually cut down by angry helljacks.

Praise to Trading!

This post contains a mixture of models old edition, new edition, built by me, built by my friend, painted by me, painted by my friend... also we are both huge converters. I did a great big trade with him and so I have the opportunity to do something I am particularly fond of, which is remaking and refreshing an entire army according to my own vision, and the other stuff I have lying around.

Aspiring Sorcerer and Thousand Sons.

Predator of Tzeentch.

I finally have a proper ride for Dragger and his unit.

Khorne Berzerkers.

I think the Phasian sector may see an uptick in Scream Walker activity.
'Til next time, cheerio!

Underreported

The Legion de Sang had a go at a force of marauding beasts this day.

"I say, shall we hole up hear 'til we fah?" "Yes, jolly good show. Prepare to fah."

The eye of combat looks jaggy today.

I did pretty well at first, driving the beasts back across the field. A Swordsman even took Jabberslythe P'ho-Qui's last wound, too!

Those units of Minotaurs had staying power, though, and with the help of a few lesser Beasts the Beasts prevailed at the last combat of turn 6. I am proud of myself having gone the distance with my Empire against Ric's beasts. An outstanding game!

"O! Tsarina and my mighty home land..."
